BioImportant facts about Neville Longbottom:
Neville still loves herbology, and is one of the best people in England to get plants or advice on them from. Thinking about being the best puts a lot of pressure on him though, so he's very humble about it.
He's got a lot of other good qualities too, but he can't see them the way other people can.
He seems the most confident when talking about plants and his work. When speaking of things he is less familiar with, or when speaking to people he either doesn't know or finds intimidating, he stutters and blushes.
Actually, he blushes a lot. He can't ever seem to be able to hide what he's thinking.
Draco intimidates him, though he does rather fancy him, even though he hasn't seen Draco since he began playing Quidditch.
During the war, Neville fought with the Order. He likes to think his parents are proud of him for that.
He tries to visit his parents on a regular basis, including on Christmas day each year with Gran, but St. Mungo's is depressing. He's always associated it with despair and gum wrappers.
He still collects his Mum's gum wrappers.
Gran still intimidates him, but she's become a bit softer now that he's a bit of a success, and since he. She says his name with pride instead of with disappointment.
Neville has mostly grown into his body, and especially since being with Draco has become much more confident with the way he looks. Not that he'd flaunt it.
Neville doesn't go out of the way to tell people he's gay. Only close friends and some of his former classmates know. He's been with a few guys, but isn't looking for something serious yet (unless, of course, Draco grow up and asks him to).
He has never had a large group of friends, and he is always grateful for those he does have. He will go out of his way for them, will always try to protect them, which is why he fought in the war to begin with.
Neville has always felt isolated, which is why he loves being in Diagon Alley, which is always crowded and full of life.
